Our second location to open out of Mont Albert, Hawthorn’s Bakehouse allows the viennoiserie operations of Via Porta to expand and grow, while supporting the creative explorations of our pastry team.

Bakehouse produces an extensive selection of traditional pastries with influence from Italian and French pastry practises, along with some not-so-traditional pastry variations which extract inspiration from global flavours and ingredients.
Via Porta’s viennoiserie craft highlights quality ingredients, traditional techniques, and a complete passion for the practice.

Hawthorn’s VP Bakehouse offers our complete sweet and savoury pastry selection, Italian deli sandwiches and an extensive beverage menu every day of the week.
We also have a variety of Via Porta pantry staples and take-home meals available to grab off our shelves or pick out of the fridge.
